The Alpe di Siusi is with 56 km² the largest high altitude Alpine meadow in Europe and each year attracts numerous tourists due to its overwhelming landscape and stunning surroundings. The Alpe di Siusi is located right in the middle of the Dolomites and near the villages Kastelruth, Seis, Völs am Schlern and Tiers am Rosengarten. From the Pitschlmann farm, the valley station of the Alpe di Siusi Cableway can be reached in 15-20 minutes by car. There is also a regular bus service from Völs to the Cableway and back.
